Great college prep high school

July 12, 2024

I am not a current parent, but my daughter graduated from SJND. I found SJND to have “real academic rigor” with high expectations and support. My daughter from SJND is currently in a graduate program out of state and was accepted into 8 out of 9 selective liberal arts colleges for undergraduate school. Both daughters felt very prepared for college.

Great community

June 4, 2024

After our son had a disappointing experience at Alameda High, we encouraged our daughter to consider St. Joseph Notre Dame. She is now a junior there, and we couldn’t be happier. She is getting a great college-prep education at a school with a wonderful community atmosphere.

A bit hard to make friends because I didn't go to private middle school

April 9, 2024

I went to a public middle school and then came to Saint Joseph starting in 9th grade. A lot of the other girls went to the same private middle schools together, which it made it hard for me to fit in and find a group of friends. However, I’d still recommend the school for its great academics.
