Fantastic educational experience. The teachers are second to none! After 4 years of learning how to study, college should be a breeze academically. Great place if you are an average athlete who would never play High school sports, as here you can be a star and continue that passion. My biggest gripe is that they don’t have enough mainstream kids… a little too inclusive on many issues to the point it may not be preparing those kids for the real world (or at least outside CA).

Love this school! Passionate teachers, bright, respectful and kind kids, beautiful campus, and gourmet lunches for starters. Tuition is steep but they do offer financial aid for those that qualify. This is one place where it’s considered cool to be smart. Students can expect 2-3 hours of homework per night in middle school and more in high school. It’s a great mix of athletes, mathletes, artists and techies. I’d have given it 5 stars except for the steep tuition.

Crystal Springs Uplands School has been a transformative experience for my child. The small class sizes and personalized attention have allowed my child to thrive academically and socially. The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond to ensure that each student reaches their full potential. The school also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, from sports to arts, which has helped my child develop a well-rounded skill set. The only issue we’ve encountered is the school’s emphasis on liberal social views, which may not align with everyone’s beliefs. Nonetheless, the overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I believe my child is well-prepared for college and beyond.

As a student, I find the school too focused on humanities. The English and history classes are great but the STEM programs are lacking. We need more balance.

My child has been attending Crystal Springs Uplands School for three years now, and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. The school offers a rigorous academic program that challenges students to excel in all subjects. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely care about the students’ success. The community is very supportive, and my child has made lifelong friends here. The only downside is the high tuition, but the financial aid program has been a great help for us. Overall, I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a top-notch education for their child.
