My son is going to Harvard in August because of Archbishop Riordan

July 9, 2024

My son has thrived academically at Archbishop Riordan. The rigorous college preparatory curriculum, including 16 Advanced Placement courses, has prepared him well for higher education. The teachers are knowledgeable and compassionate, always going the extra mile to support their students. The grading is tough but fair, which has helped my son develop a strong work ethic. He’ll be attending Harvard in the fall, and we couldn’t be more proud of him!

Athletics, football especially, are stellar

My son plays on the football team, and the coaching staff is excellent. They not only focus on athletic skills but also on building character and teamwork. The school spirit during games is incredible, and it’s great to see the community come together to support the teams

I belong here and you will too :)

The social scene at Riordan is welcoming and inclusive. Making friends was easy because everyone is open and friendly. The school organizes a lot of events, like the Freshman Olympics and spirit weeks, which are really fun and help us bond. I feel like I belong here and have found my place.

Not my favorite

My son has struggled to make friends here and will be transferring to a different school next fall. It’s very cliquey and dependent on which middle school your child went to.
